Hydrotherapy is a popular method employed by occupational and physio therapists to assist pain relief and as a treatment for chronic and acute conditions. It is not necessary for a patient to be able to swim or get their head wet and they are usually accompanied by a physiotherapist throughout treatment. A water temperature of 34oC provides the optimum temperature for muscle relaxation helping to decrease pain and increase the range of movement and muscle activity. The aim of hydrotherapy is to gain flexibility of joints, strengthen muscles and enhance core stability to restore or improve function.

Through Floor Lifts are access solutions for wheel chair users or those with restricted mobility who reside in two-storey accommodation. It is a small lift that will fit into any home and can be located in any downstairs room and move up through an aperture in the ceiling to the room above (usually the user's bedroom); they provide freedom of access to the whole house. Also known as Vertical Lifts, Platform Lifts, Disabled Lifts or Home Lifts.

Ceiling mounted hoist systems are often utilised in the home and other care environments as a solution to lifting and transporting those with limited mobility. A ceiling mounted hoist means the hoist does not restrict floor space and it is easier, quicker and safer for both the user and their Carers. This approach is preferable as the system is charged and ready to use at all times and can reach anywhere in any room making the equipment more effective, minimising time, stress and exertion for the user and carer in moving them and allowing more time to undertake the necessary care routine.
